Course DescriptionIn 2011, the IPv4 address pool at IANA was exhausted, and ARIN (North America's Regional Internet Registry) is expected to run out in 2013 or 2014. New devices will have to use the new IPv6 address system instead. We all have to implement IPv6 on all our routers, servers, applications, and end devices. This class introduces the essential steps of IPv6 deployment, with many hands-on projects.Prerequisite knowledge: Students should be familiar with IPv4 addresses and routing at the Network+ level.
