HMAC

A Hash-based Message Authentication Code uses a hash function AND a shared secret key, so they provide both integrity and authentication. They are used for financial transactions.

Here's CrypTool computing an HMAC.

Cracking WEP with the AirPcap Card

We installed the CD of software, then the USB AirPcap card.

The AirCrack from the CD just failed to work, many times.

Finally I just used Cain, and it worked like a charm!
