Third largest bank in the world China's ICBC, was hit with a ransomware attack which would have compromised all of the computers on the bank's network HAD they had upgraded.

HP is pushing over-the-air firmware updates to its printers, bricking them. If you cancel your HP ink subscription or use non-HP ink cartridges HP immediately send a security updates to "protect" your printer cartridge from a virus attack . There is no known virus attack against ink printer cartridges. Once HP began bricking ink printer cartridges doing they increased prices. There is now a class action lawsuit against HP.
