How to Nuke Vista With the SMB 2.0 Attack

Install ActivePython on a Windows system. If you are using Ubuntu Linux, Python is already installed. Copy the text below into a text file and save it with a .py file extension.

It works on machines with SMB 2.0 running -- port 445 open. I have used it to nuke Vista Business, Win 7 Ultimate RC (build 7100), and Win Server 2008 SP1. It does NOT work on Win 7 Professional RTM. Reports say it does work not on Server 2008 R2.
