Use Internet Explorer (not Firefox) and go to http://www.myitlab.com/

Type type the login name and password you created during registration in the respective text boxes.

Click Login. 

Click the OK button. 

The My Courses page displays. 

Click the Enroll in a Course button. 

Type the Course ID in the Course ID box and click Submit. If you haven’t received the Course ID yet, contact the Program Admin at your school.

On the Confirm Course screen, verify that the Course ID you entered matches the appropriate course. Click the Confirm button. If the course name shown on screen is incorrect, confirm the Course ID with the Program Admin and then click the Back button to change your Course ID. 

On the Summary screen, confirm the information is correct and then click the Enter Course Now button to enter the new course

Click "Week 1: Start Here: Getting Started with myitlab".

Click "myitlab Installation Wizard".  

Click the "http://myitlab.pearsoncmg.com/webwiz/wizard.asp" link.

On the next page, click Next.

Read the information on the page, and install Flash Player if necessary.  Then click Next.

Read the information on the page, and install Adobe Reader if necessary.  Then click Next.

When the next page opens, a yellow Information Bar appears at the top of the screen saying "This website wants to install the following add-on: 'stub.cab' from 'Pearson Education'."  Click the yellow Information Bar, and click "Install ActiveX Control".  You may see additional boxes asking for confirmation--grant them permission to install the software.  When you see the orange blocks and the message "please wait... your assignment is loading", that means the process is complete.  Click Next.

The next page is titled "Additional Downloads".  Click the link to install the myitlab simulation player files.  A new window opens, showing five grayed-out icons for "myitlab core files", "myitlab Microsoft Word Files", and so on.  Wait until all five icons change to full-color and have green check marks next to them.  It took about 5 minutes when I did it.  Then click the Close button.

In the "Additional Downloads" page, click Next.  An "Installation Complete!" message appears.  Click the Close button.

In the Calendar on the right side, click the little alarm clock icon for August 24 to see today's assignment.  A series of items appear, starting with "Sample Test: Excel".  When you complete an item, it will show a green check mark.  Go through each item.
